Abstract
Whether acute or chronic, orthopaedic pain can be severe and debilitating. Treatment should be tailored to each individual patient and the use of non-pharmacological therapies encouraged. This chapter provides an approach to acute musculoskeletal injury and discusses a range of treatment options for the management of chronic musculoskeletal disease.
