What is the BSAVA Library?
The BSAVA Library is much more than a collection of our world-renowned manuals - it provides a resource enabling students to discover all of our content, including book chapters, lecture recordings from our annual Congress, articles from Companion, drug dosages from the BSAVA Small Animal Formulary and much more, in one place. Much of this content is not available for purchase elsewhere - including the hundreds of hours of lecture recordings that the Library offers.
How does access work for library institutional access?
The BSAVA Library content is available to libraries and other organizations using IP recognition. Using IP recognition allows groups of individuals access to one or more publications from their desktop/laptop without the need to login. Your library administrator registers the IP addresses of your library or institution, and you then have seamless access to the content you are entitled to. Furthermore, individual BSAVA members can log in additionally to access member content, and any individual user can set up a personal account to access their own purchased content and use the personalisation features of the site, such as favorites and search alerts. BSAVA membership is free of charge to veterinary students and provides many further benefits.
A number of options are available, including one-off backlist purchase providing permanent access to published manuals, and current year packages providing the latest titles.
