Abstract

THIS MANUAL HAS BEEN REMOVED FROM SALE. IT REMAINS AVAILABLE TO THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY PURCHASED ACCESS. INDIVIDUAL CHAPTERS MAY STILL BE PURCHASED

Veterinary surgeons are often reluctant to investigate disease problems in fish. However, the basic principles are the same as for any species: the appropriate treatment and advice can only be given once a diagnosis is made, and this in turn requires a standard logical approach. This chapter explains the importance of the environment; stepwise approach; taking the history; non-medicinal first aid; and examination at the clinic.
