Abstract
Confidently finding the adrenal glands in most patients is a common ultrasonographic goal. Whilst adrenal gland disease is relatively uncommon and limited to a small number of lesions, having adrenal gland disease on our list of differentials diagnoses is very common. During this session we will review the normal anatomy of the adrenal glands and anatomical landmarks that help us identify the adrenal glands in cats and dogs. The association of normal adrenal gland size with patient weight will be reviewed. The CT and ultrasonographic manifestations of disease are discussed in a case-based series.
