This lecture highlights the importance of thorough planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for the BOAS patient in primary practice. From kennel considerations, dietary requirements, emergency equipment to have on standby and more, some simple yet effective ways of optimising the nursing care of BOAS patients from admission to discharge are outlined.
