Interpretation of diagnostic imaging for bone tumours

  • Recognise the key radiographic features used to try and differentiate benign and aggressive bone lesions
  • Understand how alternative imaging techniques (ultrasound, CT, MRI, scintigraphy) can provide additional information about bone lesions
  • Be able to select the most appropriate imaging techniques to screen for possible metastatic disease which has either spread from or to the skeleton
