Looking at the often overlooked welfare of rabbits
Abstract
Of all the companion animal species, the rabbit is arguably the one that most frequently gets a raw deal as far as its basic welfare needs are concerned. However, the Rabbit Awareness Week (RAW) initiative may help more pet owners to treat this creature with the care and respect that it deserves. John Bonner reports.
