Veterinary practitioners are being asked for directions on how the UK profession should navigate its way through the uncharted waters of a world in which clinical advice is increasingly available online. But as demonstrated in the debate on telemedicine at BSAVA Congress 2019, there was no clear consensus among the delegates on how they should respond to the opportunities and threats posed by these technologies.
