BSAVA PetSavers 2023 fundraising appeals Author BSAVAPetSavers is a small wing of BSAVA that sits at the heart of its scientific strategic pillar. As such, we help push scientific boundaries through our mission to fund clinically-relevant research into the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of companion animal diseases. 2023 sees us enter our 49th year with a new plan to help raise awareness and funds so that small animal practitioners can benefit from evidence-based medicine and always have the knowledge they need to tackle the distress and pain caused by diseases in pets.

The BSAVA PetSavers Ageing Canine Toolkit Author BSAVAA major study recently funded by BSAVA PetSavers at the University of Liverpool is the Old Age Pets (OAP) research project, aiming to help vets and clients provide the best care for senior and geriatric dogs. The fruits of that research have now been translated into the BSAVA PetSavers Ageing Canine Toolkit.
