Dart guns are used to deliver anaesthetic or medical agents to animals that cannot be routinely handled. Dart guns are considered as Section 5 prohibited firearms and therefore suitable certification is required for their use. This section covers the legal requirements, types of devices available, health and safety and standard operating procedures. Self-assessment questions are included.
