Abstract
Canine Cushing’s syndrome is commonly characterized by increased glomerular filtration rate, proteinuria, hypertension and decreased urine concentrating ability. These effects occur with both spontaneous and iatrogenic HAC. This chapter includes hyperadrenocorticism and the kidneys; diabetes mellitus and the kidneys; hyperthyroidism and the kidneys; and hypercalcaemia and the kidneys.
