Abstract
Testing fertility is one of the most frequent consultation requests in male reproduction. When a mating has been unsuccessful it is very often male ’infertility’ that is suspected first. This chapter looks at history and clinical examination; semen collection and evaluation; hormone measurement; diagnostic imaging; poor semen quality; failure to achieve an erection; failure to achieve normal copulation; failure to ejaculate.
