Abstract
Ornamental fish can be broadly described as fish that are not kept as a source of food. However, in different parts of the world, one man’s pet may be another man’s food item. This chapter looks at the global industry of ornamental fish; IATA regulations; UK aquatic industry; UK aquatic hobby; and UK legislative controls.
