Since 2001, the Links Group team has been at the forefront of raising awareness about the link between the abuse of people and animals in the UK. Each year, the Links Group trains thousands of professionals, including veterinary teams, animal welfare teams and human welfare professionals. Animals caught up in domestic abuse nightmares Author Mary WakehamMary Wakeham is the Founder and Chief Executive of Refuge4Pets, a charity providing foster care for the companion animals owned by victim survivors escaping domestic abuse in Devon and Cornwall.
