BSAVA Webinar LibraryAuthor Rowena PackerThis session will use recent research on the ‘Pandemic Puppy’ phenomenon in the UK to update veterinary practitioners on how changes in the breeding, selling and early lives of puppies during the pandemic are impacting this vulnerable generation of dogs.

This will be followed by an interactive session exploring how illegal and unscrupulous puppy breeders and/or dealers can deceive prospective puppy buyers, including selling underage, illegally imported puppies – a growing section of the UK market. Finally, we will consider how best to educate your clients to protect them from supporting Europe’s illegal puppy trade.
